Speed measurement accuracy

Fenix7s with/without HRM belt is giving non realistic numbers for speed outside and indoor running.

Here are 2 examples of my sprint training sessions where we can see max speed is not real and also pace can't be the same level in each rep from warm-up to cool down.

Should the accuracy be good enough for 30-200m dash, sw issue, GPS related or maybe problem with the Fenix7s??

  • GPS instant pace is always somewhat problematic with such short dashes: because of unavoidable random small position errors, it will have to do some averaging, which delays instant pace. I've heard Fenix 7 is better, but at least on my Fenix 5+ instant pace is so slow to react that I've just ordered HRM Pro Plus to see if I can use its footpod functionality to get better instant pace.
