Custom activities

Hi, I'm looking to understand why l can't get the correct data after creating a custom activity and setting what l want to see from that activity during the event. Yet after in the app l only get the usual basics... I wantmy body temperature but it doesn't show after the activity

If you use an external temperature sensor like for example the Core for measuring the body temperature, then you need to install a Connect IQ app designed for that specific sensor, and you have to customize one of the Data Screens of the concerned custom activity profile, by adding the Connect IQ Data Field of the CIQ app you installed.

All of that is usually described in closer details in the documentation of the respective CIQ app, but in the case the instructions are missing, you can find the generic hints for CIQ Data Fields here: How Do I Enable a Data Field Downloaded From Connect IQ to My Edge? | Garmin Customer Support (although written for Edge, it is similar for other devices too).

If you do not use any external sensor, then you will not get the body temperature, since the watch does not measure it. It measures the temperature on your wrist, which is somewhere between your body temperature, and the environment temperature. Only in water, it gives the water temperature accurately.
