Creating a swim workout no longer calculates total distance

Same here for Open water swimming ,used to calculate distance ,now its not.

Yeah mine is the same. Mine stopped showing the total distance the same week as yours. Very frustrating because that's how I'd check if I'd made a mistake copying my programs across from my coach.

Same as me. I have logged with Garmin and waiting to hear back. I would encourage you all to do the same, so they are aware it's a widespread issue.

When did yours start working correctly again? I just entered a workout last night and am still having the same issue

12th March.only a,quick swim to test.

Does anyone have a solution to this, other than just waiting and hoping it comes back? Still nothing after my watch updated again yesterday.

Secondarily, I noticed my last lap alert while swimming is no longer functioning. It is recording accurately, but no longer alerts me on the last lap. 

Hi there. Thanks for this advice, but it doesn't actually answer the original issue posted here. Someone posted a similar issue with their open water swimming that this seems like it would fix. However the original post is about creating a pool workout and the Garmin Connect app no longer calculating the total distance for the workout. 

I've connected with Garmin customer service about it but haven't heard from them since then, or seen any fixes.
