Unable to send GPX to Foretrex 601 using Garmin Connect

Hi,

I recently bought a Foretrex 601 and I'm syncing my hikes using the Garmin Connect Bluetooth connection.

But I'd like to plan my hikes with sending GPX file from my phone to the Foretrex, and I can't figure out how to this in Garmin Connect. Once I loaded the GPX into Garmin Connect, selecting send to phone is rejected with message 'Courses are not supported', which is documented here : support.garmin.com/.../

Is there really any way to send a simple GPX file to the Foretrex from a phone??
