"Custom" type of workouts works for Elliptical.

talking about run intervals…. Is it possible to create a workout where the rest/recover step is not taken into account for total time/pace?
I never tested it, but you'd probably have to pause the activity manually, or use the Auto-Pause option in the settings of the concerned activity.
