Stair Stepper

The Garmin Stair Stepper Activity app on the Mk2i doesn't record steps or accent. When I attempted to manually add the 1200 feet I ascended (according to the stair stepper machine) the Garmin Connect App only allows you to scroll through one number at a time. So if I use the app to add feet ascended I have to tap to scroll on my phone through 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6... All the way to 1200. Which would take way too long to do. Can you fix it so that we can adjust the 10,000s, 1,000s, 100s, 10s, and 1s places instead of just having to go one number at a time?

  • You can edit the activity much more comfortably in Garmin Connect Web

  • Thank you, I figured that might be the case. I'll check that out! I'm hoping Garmin staff see this post and make some updates : )

  • I believe this is related to the Android version and the modifications that are done by the manufacturer of the phone. It sounds like you got a Samsung phone. Samsung has made some changes that disables the function that you can click the spinner and write any value you like. I have an unmodified Android version (Google Pixel 6 Pro) and I can click the spinner and write the value. So, send a bug report to the manufacturer.

  • OMG I am an idiot! I never just clicked the spinner. I also have a Pixel 6 Pro. That worked! Thank you so much, I can't believe I didn't think to do that.
