how to show connect icon at the top of the android screen?

where is the setting so that the "connect" icon appears at the top of the android screen at all times? please advise. thanks.

  • Where do you want to see it? On your home screen? Just add it there.

Or what is the "Connect" icon? I thought you meant the icon to start the app.

  • I assume you mean the constant notification icon on the notification bar when the watch is connected? I'm not sure if there are easier ways to do this (and it may depend on your Android version), but at least on my phone you can get to that setting from the phone's settings under Applications -> Connect -> Notifications -> Notification classes -> Device connectivity.

  • I am referring to the notification in the topmost bar on the Android. Whose bar is always visible and shows things like Wi-Fi connectivity and battery percentage. Some apps have a way to put the apps icon on this bar so that it's always visible so that one can know the device is connected. I did check the area. Could you mentioned and I do not have notification classes. I did turn on all notifications but I just don't see that icon in the upper area. I like to have this icon showing in the upper shade area is I think they call it because it lets me know that the connect app is always running and always sinking data which is important. Still no luck here. If you have another idea please let me know. The Android version here is Android 13.

  • I want to see the icon in the notification shade that shows on all the time in the topmost area of the Android screen.

You might need to restart your phone.
