FitOn exercises are not recording to my VenuSq?

I have the FitOn app added to my Venu Sq, it recorded a workout in the past but now it's not working. Is there a way to add it manually?

  • Not sure whether there are a lot of users familiar with that app, here on the forum. Personally, I am not, and do not know what it is supposed to do, so cannot tell you whether you can add it manually. Basically, you can add workouts of any available type in Garmin Connect - see the instructions here: Create a Manual Activity in Garmin Connect | Garmin Customer Support 

    As for the FitOn app - you would get the fastest help by using the link "Contact developer" on the page of the app at FitOn: Fitness Workout Companion | Garmin Connect IQ 

  • When I read the reviews of the FitOn app the users say that no activities are recorded so there might be some issues there. A couple of reviews say that it logs the activity about half of the times. The rating is really really low.

    The description for the app says: "Completed workouts are now saved as an activity to Connect IQ so you keep track of all your workouts, including those you do on FitOn."

    I wonder what they mean with that the activity is saved to Connect IQ...it should say Garmin Connect.

  • I think that Connect IQ Store is a place from where you can download apps to your Garmin device.

    Garmin Connect is the software for your mobile phone to connect with your Garmin device.

    I have Vivosmart 5 and I can't use IQ Store, but I use Garmin connect.
