Garmin Connect + Approach S62 = "Server Connection Error"

I have successfully paired my Approach S62 with my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra in the past, but over time the watch only started connecting to the phone intermittently. As suggested by Garmin, I went into Garmin connect and removed the watch from my phone and attempted to re-pair the watch to the phone. If I follow the steps Garmin lays out, I put the watch into pairing mode and then tell Garmin Connect to look for the watch, which is always successfully finds. The watch then display a 6-digit pairing code, which I then type into the prompt that appears on the phone. However, this is where things fall apart. About 3 seconds after typing in the pairing code and pressing OK, the Garmin Connect app displays an error screen that says "Server Connection Error" at the top. I don't believe this is a network issue on my end because it occurs both on Wi-Fi and when I am connected over 5G.

The watch still works and is paired fine to the Garmin Express app on my PC, but I need the watch to communicate with my phone too. Please help! Thanks.
