How can I see the same favorite courses on web and in app?

On the webapp I select a bunch of favorite courses and when I go to the Android app I don't see them. Is this normal? I've tried clearing the cache and logging into the app again. It's been like this for months so it's not a sync lag. Are the web and app favorite lists supposed to be distinct?

I just tested it, and the marking of a course as favorite in GC Web transfers instantly to the app (after syncing). If it does not work for you, then you may be using a different account on the web than in the app.

Thanks for checking! Just to be clear, when you say "after syncing" was that a manual sync step or just the normal wait for data to show up in the app?

My activites sync fine so it must be using the same account on both. Maybe it's a problem with my account settings.

In fact, I just retried without the manual syncing step, tagging a course as favorite in GC Web, then went to Courses on the app, and the new favorite course was already listed when selecting the Favorites tab.

It does not necessarily mean you cannot have multiple accounts associated with the device. In your place I would carefully follow all the instructions in the document Garmin Connect Sync Issues Due to Having Two Accounts | Garmin Support Center
