Error message - device does not allow courses, please assist

Hi, I'm struggling to get a gpx file from laptop to Garmin

There could be something wrong with the file or you're not importing the course correctly. Make sure you're using the import course feature (not import data)

Go to Garmin Connect Web https://connect.garmin.com/modern/courses
Click import

Browse for your file or drop it here...

Click Get Started
When finished, sync to your Garmin via the mobile app or Garmin Express
