Pairing edge to smartphone

My edge 810 froze on Monday 31st and since then I haven't been able to pair it to my smartphone. I've tried uninstalling, resetting etc... But it just won't pair. I see there was a connect update on the 13th and I didn't use the edge from the 21st. It seems as if the first problem it encountered after the update has sent it haywire. Is this a common problem with a fix?

  • I had a similar issue a few weeks ago. I solved it by restarting phone. You could try clearing the GCM cache or uninstalling GCM and reinstalling it but that should be a last resort.
