How do you record a swim in a swimspa? The pool swim doesn't record the distance properly.

Try using Open Water Swimming with the GPS turned off.

No, sorry. The watch must have support for Open Water Swimming for my tip to work.

You have to enter the right pool distance in the Pool Swim activity settings. And then you have to take care that your turns at the wall are clean and fast enough to be detected. And if it is an "endless" pool with artificial current, then you need to estimate the distance from the current speed, or from the number of strokes, and enter the distance (resp. you can only enter the number of pool lengths) manually in Garmin Connect.
