Map of activity trimmed on Garmin Connect Web not syncing with Garmin Connect Mobile Android

Hi

I recently discovered how to trim an activity on Garmin Connect Web when I forgot to stop my fenix 6 pro at the end of the activity.  All good - the map and statistics update to the trimmed activity.

However, while the statistics for the trimmed route sync to Garmin Connect Mobile Android, the map for the trimmed route does not and on my mobile it still shows the full (too long, erroneous) activity map.

Am I doing something wrong here?

    You have to sync the GC Mobile app, so that it gets the updated data from the server. Tap the sync icon (double circle arrows ) top right. Subsequently you can also pull down the main screen of the app. If it does not help, try forcing the app to stop, and restarting, though normally it is not necessary.

  • Many thanks.  I tried all that but it didn't seem to work.  I then tried wiping all the app data (as well as the cache) on my mobile and signing in again from scratch, and that seems to have fixed it - route now synced across both platforms.
