Problems after new Garmin Connect update

After installing latest version of Garmin Connect to Android (4.59), my rides were not able to syncronize from my Edge 830 to my phone. I was still able to receive text messages on the Garmin unit from the phone and upload routes from the phone to the Garmin unit. I then tried to unpair phone and Garmin unit, and pair them again, and now I was not able to pair them at all. Next thing I tried was to uninstall Garmin Connect on the phone and install it again, still no luck. I then tried to reset my phone to factory settings and install Garmin Connect again, still no luck. I tried to connect to my old Edge 810, and again I was not able to pair the unit with Garmin Connect.

I'm able to connect to several other bluetooth devices without any problems, so it can't be my phone's bluetooth that is malfunctioning. I then tried to figure out if it was my Garmin unit that was broken, but pairing to my wifes iPhone was sucessfull.

Any others that has experienced problems after installing latest version Garmin Connect for android?

Hi e7andy, yes, every time I try to pair I make sure to remove it from paired Bluetooth devices on the phone. Looks like there is a bug in their new update for Android.

Same for me, since last update I cant connect to my edge 1000, before that never a problem, I have tried everything possible and no success. Last update september 19th last connection september 19th. How cuold I intall a previous version????. Is there a way to renove last update???

First uninstall Connect app, then download and install from apkmirror Connect app v4.58.1. Make sure, that google play auto update is off. And it should work

Certo bloccare tutti gli aggiornamenti di tutte le app dello smartphone, per chissà quanto tempo, non mi sembra una soluzione particolarmente appetibile, il vero problema, anche grave, è che Garmin e i suoi programmatori ci ignorano....

I'm having the same issues on Android eith my Garmin Forerunner. How do I roll back? I don't believe my software is v4.58.1 going by my watch it's on v3.50 with now software updates available.
