Yes, there are more complaints from several Samsung owners here on the forum, for others it works all right, though. First of all, I'd try disabling WiFi on the phone, to see whether it then works as expected. Some Samsung phones indeed tend to have issues between WiFi and BT. Sometimes a network reset helps. Also, if you have a 5GHz router, switch to the 5GHz mode instead of 2GHz - that often helps too.
If you find it that turning off the WiFi does not help, then there are some other settings changes that helped other Samsung phone owners. Have a look especially at the hints #23 - #27 of the Sync / Connection Troubleshooting Guide.
