Update Bluetooth Connection - "Aggiorna connessione Bluetooth" in italian

Hi all,

starting from today every time I open Garmin Connect Mobile on my Android phone, appear a message saying "Update Bluetooth Connection", (in italian Aggiorna connessione Bluetooth"), asking for phantomatic new 6 digits PIN. If I press "start"...... nothing happen....

Has anybody experienced the same issue? Anybody can help me solve this? Please?

Yes, I get the exactly same problem. I've just pressed "Not Now" for the time being

Hi,

I have had no issues pressing "Not Now", and selected remind me again tomorrow.

I did not see this yet, but if I did, I would try activating the BT upgrade and simultaneously I'd put the watch into the pairing mode (Phone off, Phone on). It might then show the PIN.

Same for me except that after clicking "Get Started", it shows a message stating that it "cannot connect with Device" because there's a problem with the bluetooth connection... even though my fenix 6 synchronizes itself perfectly with my phone.

And did you try setting the watch into the pairing mode?

Ok it worked but if I close and restart Garmin Connect it shows again the same message ("Upgrade Bluetooth Connection") and fails again. I have even tried removing + unpairing the device from my phone, then add it again in Garmin Connect, configure it and it still show the same message.

I'm not going to try and test any longer because it doesn't seem to impact my watch synchronization so I'll put this on yet another bug in the mobile application.

I repaired my F6 with the 6 digit code, still getting the message.

It sounds like the same issue as reported in this thread: Repeated bluetooth pairing codes after disconnecting watch

Some users report having it fixed by the Android OS upgrade, others by enabling the "Gabeldorsche Bluetooth stack" option in the developer options of the phone.
