Battery died never got badges

Set off on the Coast 2 coast with 18 days battery. Battery ran out with just over 30 miles to go. Is there any way of fixing this? Hasn't given me my badges for the ride either.

Neither has it added mileage onto other badges

To get badges you must upload the ride to Garmin Connect. Is it uploaded? Could you post a link to it so we can have a look?
