Hi i recently went hiking but I accidentally marked it as swimming I'm trying to edit it but everytime I get an error! Has anyone has this issue before, should I just delete the activity! ?

Change Activity from swimming to hiking gives an error

Hi i recently went hiking but I accidentally marked it as swimming I'm trying to edit it but everytime I get an error! Has anyone has this issue before, should I just delete the activity! ?

Was it recorded as Pool Swimming or as Open Water Swimming? What error exactly are you getting? Did you try changing the activity type in Garmin Connect Web, and do you get the same error there too?

The problem is that I went hiking not swimming so I havent been able to change it in the app, I always get an error

Yes, I know, and that's exactly why I asked whether it was recorded as Open Water Swimming (with the GPS track), or Pool Swimming (without the GPS). Because if it was recorded without any GPS track, then it will be difficult to convert to any hike activity making sense.

Yes, I know that too, but I asked whether you tried it also in Garmin Connect Web, to see whether there was any difference.

And what error exactly are you getting?
