GPS location

I'm trying to find out how to set my location as I had a fall recently and I live in Qld but my watch sent an alert to family members saying I was in NSW how do I change this

Your location is determined by the GPS. So just verify the GPS lock is on before starting an outdoor activity. Also, sync regularly, to renew the ephemeris data file (read more details in the document Expired EPO on a Garmin Outdoor Watch). If it happened indoors, then you may need to go out and start the GPS, up and then, so that the watch can get the location. Indoors, the incident detection feature may also use the location reported by your phone, so the app Garmin Connect Mobile has to have the permissions to use the location services, in Android settings.
