I see so far one way to synchronize time - in the clock settings via GPS. But isn't it possible to do this via Bluetooth?

Fenix 3 probably not, but more recent watches can indeed sync the time both with the phone (over Garmin Connect, or over Garmin Express), and with GPS. Personally, I doubt Garmin would do any changes on a four generations old device, so I am afraid you will have to go out, up and then, and start an outdoor activity, to get the right time. Finally, that's what the watch was originally designed for
