Fenix 7X SS notifications from Garmin Golf app are taking priority over Garmin Connect, how can I get them to sync up, or prefer the Connect app?

New Fenix 7X SS, firmware Ver 8.21, updated apps.

When I installed Garmin Golf, I started getting all sorts of notifications and I learned that the watch is taking priority from the Golf app and ignoring my choices in the Connect app where I only have a handful of apps selected to send me notifications, as well as my choices of what types of notifications to receive during activities. Is there a way to fix this? I want it only to look at my notification options from Connect app. If I turn off notifications in Garmin golf, it turns off all notifications, still ignoring the Connect app.

    I have a very similar issue, but not with the Garmin Golf app, but with the Garmin Explore app. It seems that there's been an update recently, which causes the Explore app  (or in your case the Golf app) to completely take over notification management, ignoring what is set in Garmin Connect.
