Hi! Can anyone explain why my garmin connect showed 41 years old for my fitness age on May 31 while for many days before it was 37.5 and after it become also 37.5? What was happend on May 31?)))

My actual age is 43

  • Hard to tell without knowing the watch model, and without seeing your data. If you own an older model using the VO₂max for the fitness age, then it was the VO₂max that changed that day. If you have a newer device, then it was probably either the weight (resp. BMI), or the Resting HR.

  • Thank you for your reply! Actually I have Fenix 6x pro watch. As I understand it uses not only VO2max but also weight, HR, average activity time and might be other parameters. But what is strange is the sharp spike in fitness age on May 31 (please, look at screeshot attached). It looks like a software bug (may be bug of interpolation algorithm), because all the parameters listed have not been changed trough May 30 to June 1.

  • Hard to tell without seeing all the relevant data, but some of the factors certainly changed, or expired. You need maximally 7 days old data, for all the factors, so if some of them expired, it could be the reason.
