Not able to detect phone contacts to add for live tracking

i am not able to search or view the related phone contacts that i need to add to the live tracking function. the few i can view by default are irrlevent . Please help

    Do you have your contacts stored in your Gmail account Contacts, or just on the SIM card?

    Hey thanks, Just checked. Well all the contacts are usually saved to the google account by default thesedays. But as i checked the contact did not have an email mentioned in the google contact list vs the samsung contact list. As i edited and added the email to the google contact, now its available for the viewing.
