Pixel 3A and Forerunner 245 Music

My Pixel 3A recently upgraded to Android 12. Since then my Forerunner 245 has not been able to pair. I have followed every troubleshooting tip that Garmin advises. It allows me to get as far as entering the pin and then says pairing failed. The app is up to date, my phone is up to date with all system updates. I've turned bluetooth on/off and rebooted the phone and the watch.

Remove/unpair the watch from the bluetooth settings in the phone. Then open Connect and add the watch.

Did that. Doesn't work.

Make sure that you've allowed all permissions to the Connect app. During pairing location is needed.

Which country setting do you have here: https://www.garmin.com/account/profile
Make sure you got the correct location so it isn't set to Japan unless you actually are in Japan :-)

I have the same issue, trying to use my old pixel 3 as a smaller phone for running. Did you solve this ?
