Wheres the event sharing gone?

I have an android phone and have seen the event sharing on the safety and tracking list and now it's gone. Only have live track available. I wanted to set up the text message triggers for my race tomorrow but its completelyvanished. Wheres it gone or what settings do I need to change to get it back on the list?

Which Garmin do you have? They don't all support this. I have an epix 2. It is listed as an option on Garmin Connect v4.54.

Instinct solar. I've seen it on my watch and looked at the text features etc and decided I'd use it for my race, went to set it up amd it's not there on the list anymore

Instinct Solar is not listed among the models compatible with the Live Event Sharing feature. Unless you own Instinct 2 Solar.

Apologies for jumping in on your post but I have the same problem. I think this might have happened after an update. I've got the FR45 and used it all the time. Got my first marathon in 3 weeks and hopefully it will be sorted by then

That's what I thought maybe a glitch as I've definitely seen it at least twice, definitely not imagining it.

Went to set it up for my race then not there, no safety and tracking just live track which I attempted to use for my race but failed as I don't have Internet connection to sent the email. Therefore the text option is the better option.

Probably a glitch or something but it was definitely there at least twice. Disappointed I couldn't use the feature for my race yesterday

I have the same problem. I have removed and added my watch (45) several times a long with uninstalling and reinstalling the app with no luck. I like live event sharing better than live track. my watch is updated.

Same... I managed to get hold of Garmin support and they've passed it on to their tech team. I will update you as soon as I have an outcome

I couldn't use the live event sharing on that particular race I done as I didn't have Internet connection for garmin to send the email link to the recipients and I would assume you would need an Internet connection throughout the event for it to work too.

Hope garmin sort it out

Just a bit of an update re live event sharing.

Contacted support several times and they can't fault it. So now they have sent it all onto the team in the US.
