Garmin Connect not working with MyFitnessPal

I have recently purchased a Garmin Venu SQ smartwatch, and therefore downloaded the Garmin Connect app.

I've been using MyFitnessPal (free ver.) for a while, and linked it to Garmin Connect: it initially worked properly, but now it just stopped syncing the calories between the apps.

I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting but it didn't work for me, any ideas?

use my WF - they have MFP and it run

apps.garmin.com/.../apps

I use this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nl.appyhapps.healthsync if it's only for sync and you use android then it can help.
