BT Solar Instinct frequent connect/disconnect

BT in my Solar Instinct îs connecting/disconnecting frequently If my phone îs more than 5-6 mtrs away. On a different brand watch the BT never hâd this issue. Amy ideas please?

Keep the watch in the proximity of the phone, or disable the phone alerts, and it will stop alerting you all the time. As long as it reconnects, you won't even notice the short dropping of connection. The range of BT is 10m without obstacles, so if there are some walls or object within the 5-6m, then it is perfectly OK. BT is a short-range technology.

With a watch from different brand there were no issues with the range on the same mobile phone. I added again the other watch (old) and I checked the range- at 20 mtrs away, in my yard, with the mobile phone inside the house, finally the watch got disconnected. Garmin- no go. In other test, my Garmin got disconnected when I was upstairs in the bedroom, 6-7 mtrs away liniar distance, through the walls. Same walls, same distance, same phone in the same spot, the old watch stays connected and the Garmin goes crazy, connect-disconnect continously. Honestly, i consider going back in my old watch. Piece of sh...this Garmin. I'm really disapointed by this watch.

Does the other brand have as good battery life as Instinct? If not, then this may be one of the reasons.
