x2 .fit files not working

I have 2 .FIT files (golf scorecards) that have failed to transfer data from Garmin Connect to the Garmin Golf App.

Having spoken with Garmin support they suggested trying to find a fix online. I've tried the online tool that everyone seems to use but can't get the files to upload, just the following error message:

"Upload status: The file could not be uploaded. The following error occured: The process cannot access the file 'C:\inetpub\wwwroot\localuser\garmin.kiesewetter.nl\loadup\C3M84516.FIT' because it is being used by another process".

Is there anyone able to help?

Unfortunately, I can only recover 21 km (half marathon) of this file - 2022-04-10-10-01-16-fixed.fit. Also, there is no GPS data for the first 8 km.

Maybe Former Member will have a look.

Hi I have the same problem

I ran my first marathon this morning. Unfortunately, the fit file was not working and is not possible to import my run to my Garmin connect app.
Same as 6416453 I tried to use that website but I got the same message. Any suggestion?

Try a manual upload to Garmin Connect - How Do I Manually Upload an Activity I Recorded to Garmin Connect?

If you get any message other than Import Complete, then there is a problem with the file being corrupt. Attach it to this thread. We can look to see if it is repairable.

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Or upload the fit file to a file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc., make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.

Ok, i think this is the correct link to the 2 files.

They are golf scorecards for my Garmin Approach S20 Golf watch.

Garmin themselves advised me to try and get these fixed via some kind of forum.

Yes, but with the tool I typically use (FIT File Repair Tool), was unable to do anything with a scorecard.

Garmin got me to clear the cache of .FIT files after the problem and this is the first one which successfully synced again.
