Why can't you adjust the meters after your pool swim when the Swim2 watch doesn't calculate the correct meters?

My new Swim2 watch worked perfectly once. Why am I not allowed to adjust the meters to the correct amount?

You are allowed

Edit the Activity, scroll down, tap Show More Data, and edit the Number of Lengths.

I have multiple times where it shows a decent path but no distance. Don't understand why it can't calculate the distance between the points it does register

Path during pool swimming??? If your post is not on the same topic, then you better create your own thread, and give some more details.
