Why does my watch frequently unpair?

I have a Samsung phone(S20FE) with garmin connect and a Fenix 6X and it unpairs every few hours.  It is at least a 10 minute process to re-pair it and it's driving me mad. 

I have searched for a solution, but the nearest thread I can find is from 5 years ago. 

I wonder if an attempted hotfix for the bluetooth pairing cycle that is mentioned in another popular thread is causing it?  I have had that issue several times before, but usually after re-pairing several times it eventually works and stops the cycle. 

The issue I have is that I notice that my watch isn't syncing and when I look in garmin connect it shows that the Fenix isn't paired however it IS registered to Garmin Connect.   Sometimes I just repair it, sometimes I completely remove it, and then reregister, but both have the same results.  It connects for a few hours. 

Any Solutions?
