How to allow phone notification only while running

Hello all,

I'm using a Phenix 6 and, most of the times, I don't need phone notification on my garmin (like message, call,...).

Is there a way to enable them only on specific activities like running or cycling?

Or, if it's not possible, how to enable them quickly? Like : Let's go running but first, let's enable notif in one click.

Thanks!

  • Yes, this would be very useful, for per activity notifications.

I don't want notifictions while I am running or in the gym, but would like them when walking.

  • You could create a new mode in the Power Manager, where you disable the Phone option (Bluetooth), and use the new power mode at the activities where you do not wish to receive any notifications. You can associate each activity profile with a power mode of your choice. You'll find the settings in the Settings menu of the concerned activity.

  • Argh I have a Forerunner 245 which does not have the Power Manager feature. I guess toggling Bluetooth off on the Watch is probabliy the easiest workaround.
