hello. how can i record a free road cycling tour? never had a garmin. now i have an epix 2. thanks

Do you mean send it to your epix as a course? Should be everything you need to know here - Creating a Course in Garmin Connect

If you're trying to import the "free road cycling tour" into your Garmin account.

On a web browser go to https://connect.garmin.com/modern/courses
Click on Import then drop your gpx file into the window that comes up
Then you can just send it to your epix using Garmin Connect Mobile app or Garmin Express.

no.i dont want to create any predefined runs. i just want to get out with the bike for a free ride. and to be able to record this , gps, heart, etc like strava or zepp does. but with garmin connect.

Press start/stop (top/right button)
Press up or down arrow then start/stop to select Bike
Wait for the GPS beep and green line at the top of the watch
Press start/stop button. If you see the green arrow, you're now recording your bike ride
When finished press start/stop button. You'll see a red square
Arrow down to Save
Then press Start/Stop to save
