Challenges not showing activities

Hi,

I have recently got the Vivoactive 4 Watch and when i have joined challenges no progress works towards them. I have been and tried many of the suggestions on the forums like making sure it is synced and slightly editing the activities but nothing has worked.

  • Is it the Garmin challenges or connection or group challenges? For connection and group challenges you must use the correct privacy setting so all participants can see your activities. For Garmin challenges the privacy setting doesn't matter.

Make sure you use the correct activity type. For a walking challenge you must log the activity as walking, for a running it must be running and so on.

Post a link to an activity or a screenshot that you think should count for a challenge and say which challenge it should count for. Take one at a time.

  • This is for the garmin badge challenges. Specifically in this case the 2022 Walking - Stage 1

  • That activity looks ok as long as it has been logged with your Garmin Vivoactive 4.

What does the challenge page say?

Have you tried leaving the challenge and joining again?

  • I have tried leaving and rejoining and it was logged with my watch.

The february steps challenge is the same, showing at 0 even though i did 10,000+ yesterday and 3,000 today so far.

  • Very odd. I can't see any issues here.

I would try the following even if I really don't see why it would make any difference:

Connect your watch with Garmin Express on a computer and do a sync that way. It never hurts to sync with Garmin Express from time to time.
After that leave and join the challenge again.

My idea is that it could be some issue with the registration of the device...a bit farfetched...

If nothing helps you will have to contact Garmin Support so they can take a look from their side: https://support.garmin.com/
