Garmin Connect Mobile Android times out when syncing

Since update yesterday, February 11 2022 Australian time, the Garmin Connect Mobile Android app starts to sync but seems to time out.

Version is 4.51.1

Device: Garmin Instinct

The progress circle stops at about the 2 o'clock position, server calculated values (sleep, ...) don't show up.

Is Garmin aware of issues with this version of the app?

I have synchronised using Garmin Express on my laptop. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. The calculated values appeared after logging in. But the app still won't sync.

I went through the Troubleshooter.

Deleted the app data and Force Stopped the app. After this, the watch re-paired successfully.

Try removing your instinct - Menu >> Garmin Devices >> tap the Instinct >> Select 3-dot menu >> Remove Device.

Then add the Instinct back.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Connect manages Bluetooth pairing, but then gives the message "Pairing failed" with a "Retry" button at the bottom of the screen.

The Instinct is on version 16.50.

Pressing Retry gives the same result.
