Why does it take up 800MB of device memory?

What could possible be in there to make it that huge?

  • On my phone it's mostly app cache, which should be for temp files to make the app run faster. Connect is not the worst offender of all the apps I have, but it's in the top 10. You can clear cache and it won't cause any issues, just might be slower to open the next time.

  • Cache is only 60MB for me, most is in the core app, if I deleted that I have to reconfigure the whole thing.

  • Yes, I see what you mean. It's not really causing an issue for my phone, as I tend to uninstall apps I don't use. Are you reaching the limitation of your phone?

  • No just wondering, since this app does not really do anything data intensive like Instagram oder GMaps. But then their windows software stores every old map and firmware updates too, so maybe its something similar..just a cache of multiple app and firmware updates, map tiles, photos from activities, every old diagram as a graphic file...
