Repeated bluetooth pairing codes after disconnecting watch

As a lot of people allready reported there is an issue with Android Phone/Garmin Connect App and some Garmin Watches.

My Venu 2 Plus does not automatically reconnect to the phone after leaving bluetooh range OR manually disabling bluetooth on the phone. This apperas every day since i got the watch. Maybe in 2 of 10 cases the watch will automatically reconnect. But may this is only a feeling as i dont know when the watch was loosing connection or not.

I own a Fenix 6 Plus and a Venu 2 Plus. Both connected to a single Samsung A41 Android 11 with Garmin Connect. No other devices (except Samsung buds 2) are connected to the watch. Fenix 6 Plus working fine.

When watch is getting back in bluetooth range or bluetooth is enabled on the phone i have to input the paring code displayed on the watch. Except the issue that i have to manually input the code is that the phone will message the input nearly EVERY minute. Even when locked it will going crazy.

  • I have been having similar issues since I received my Samsung Galaxy A32 in August 2021 (Never had the same problem on my older Xiaomi phone with the same watch). I have complained to customer support and sent them all the required info (device files, Android information, Application logs, etc.), and they simply referred me to the bluetooth FAQ and said that they opened a ticket. That was back in January, and I have not heard from them again.

I would like to be added to the case.

Now please fix this. I payed over 7K for a watch that is effectively a paper weight!

  • It's a shame that they won't communicate with us and at least tell us they are trying to work on the problem

  • At what point will Garmin support its customers? An extensive list of customers have added to the file, with no advice or information. Can we get our money back? I've already swapped my first watch for another from my place of purchase, still having issues.

  • I have the same problem with my Lily since I changed from Samsung A40 to Samsung A32. Please help me. Already updates to v7.2. I have still the same problem. I am from Austria.

  • I got tired of waiting for Garmin to do something about this issue so I returned my Vivoactive 3 and bought a Fitbit Charge 5. I must admit that I don't like the Fitbit app as much as Garmin Connect but I can live with that because I have not had one single problem with the watch disconnecting from my Samsung A22.  Very disappointed with Garmin and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I have been a loyal customer over a number of years but they have lost me.

Hello. I have a Forerunner 745, and it keeps disconnecting from my Samsung A32.
In any case, I want to clarify that this was not the case from the beginning...
it started to happen at one point, close to a year after I bought it...
I made the claim but it´s no longer under warranty and Garmin Argentina does not know how to fix the Garmin forerunner 745,
they say it's a software problem, but it still has the same problems and they don't know how to fix it...
also the forerunner 745 tells me extra floors and steps (it's not just a problem with the samsung a32)
it's a problem of the Forerunner 475, for triathletes, does not last even a year. It's a Garmin scam

    Forerunner 745 - Samsung A32 - Android 11.

It doesn't connect to the phone.
Forerunner 745 counts floors and steps while I'm not moving. It is a fault of the Garmin
  • Hi. I have a fenix 3. And a Samsung S21. I haven't been able to pair the watch for a few days. I have already reset the clock and reinstalled the app. Nothing helped. 1.yes 2.yes 3.yes
