How do I prevent the Treadmill activity from connecting to the power sensor?

Hello,

I have noticed that when I start the Treadmill activity on my Garmin Fenix 6Pro, it connects to my power sensor on my bike put on the trainer.

Is there any way to disable this from settings? I was unable to find it.

You will have to disable that sensor if it connects to it. You do that in the sensors settings.

It shouldn't really matter if it connects to it since the power meter on the bike is not used during your run or does it interfere in any way?

Thanks Andy, was fearing that I have to manually disable that each and every time.

As a matter of fact, since a couple of days ago, the activities I am doing are not syncing from my watch to either Connect desktop or Android app.

I have a feeling this is maybe related to the sensor connecting as when I am trying to sync the activities on my laptop, it says the files .fit are broken.. and I assume somehow the power sensor messes them up.

Maybe this ain't the case, don't know..
