Why has my badge level just dropped from 4 to 3??

I have recently in the past month moved from level 3 to 4 with badge challenges but after one was added today it has gone down to level 3. Why?? Not happy It takes ages to move up the levels collecting badges.....

Have you been awarded badges from other countries? There are for example 4 different Halloween badges, but to get them all you need to switch the country setting multiple times during the day. If you have done it you know about it.
