What are your experiences with the training status?

The picture below shows my training status of the last 12 weeks.

As you can see, since the middle of September it is permanently swapping between productive, maintaining, unproductive, recovery, and the occasional peaking. How useful is this at all?
I am really not doing anything weird. I am following the daily training recommendations quite consistently. I like the recommendations, and I actually feel that I am improving my fitness. But the training status as shown here seems rather generated by some random status generator Wink

Does anybody see something similar, or what are your experiences with the training status?

The status are primarily calculated from VO2 max and 7-day training load.

It can be useful to look at the training status but you need to know what each status means. Read the descriptions. Fitness is VO2 max and Load is training load.

If you are training for a race you would like to be peaking at the right time, by decreasing the load at the right time. I guess in an ideal world you would be going from maintaining to productive to peaking and then go into recovery or maintaining or productive depending on the season, but in the real world it is easy to be unproductive or detraining from time to time. That can also occur when you get incorrect readings, log as incorrect acitivity type or switch your training over the season.
