Intermittent notifications with new phone

Hi, I posted this in the Fenix 6 forum but may also be appropriate here -

I have a f6x Pro and have just updated my phone from a Samsung S9 (Android 10) to a Samsung A52s (Android 11).

With the S9 I used to receive 100% of the expected notifications on the fenix. Now, with the A52s I am only receiving 50%-75% of them. I do receive notifications from all the expected apps (Messenger, Gmail, SMS, Facebook etc), I just don't get them all the time.

I have checked the app permissions for GCM (v4.48) in the phone and they are set to allow background usage -

- Allow background activity - ON

- Optimised battery usage - NOT OPTIMISED

despite the above options, it does feel like something is going to sleep somewhere. The watch software (19.20) has not been updated during this change.

erperience the same issue, there is definitety some issue between GCM and android 11

Did you update the “same” device to Android 11 and then start having issues or did you get a whole new phone?

f6x Pro also, i tested that f6x Pro connect to Iphone 12, and notifications 100% success ,0 fail
