Activities getting discarded automatically

I have enrolled daily 5km running activity. Sometime my Venu SQ watch activities are getting discarded automatically. I must have lost about 3 runs in 20 days,  which is a huge number given how much I run, because it affects my ranking.

Problems seems to be touch screen of Venu SQ watch. Can anyone suggest how to get back the data? Even that data is not in Tempfit folder.

    If it is the touchscreen that causes this the activities are not automatically being discarded. They are discared due to touches. Lock the touchscreen or put the watch outside of the clothes and use a chest strap to get heart rate data.

    It is probably easier to manually add those runs than trying to fetch them from the watch. If you need the run to be recorded with a watch then just create a 1 second run and then edit the run in Connect to the right distance, date and time.

    Hi! Thanks for the suggestions. I have tried to manually record the run. But its not getting updated in the event. Will try to edit 1s activity as suggested. But I personally feel this is not the authentic way to register your activities manually. What I want if any activity is discarded, it should be available in 'Tempfit' folder. From there user can import the data.

    I haven't looked into how the Tempfit folder works, but it is probably where FIT files are being stored while doing an activity and when the activity is saved it is moved to the activities folder. Discarding an activity means that you don't want to keep it so it should be removed. Maybe it stays there for some time but it needs to be deleted to not fill up the space on the watch.
