flickering maps in news feed

In the news feed section the maps do keep flickering constantly - extremely annoying. This only happens on my Samsung MediaPad M5, on the Sony xz1 everything works fine. Is there any way to fix this or to hide the maps at all?

I also have flickering maps in my newsfeed on my tablet, ok on phone tho, VERY ANNOYING , after 2 years of no flickering, after an update last year about Sept, , it started

Don't expect any sensible solutions from Garmin either, totally deaf and mute
