Calories burned during workout extremely wrong

For every workout my calories burned have been ridiculously low, in the <40 calories for an hours football. Another example is a a 1.45hr cycle which burned 118 calories. Why are these values now so inaccurate?

The only thing that has changed is for running and cycling I use the Garmon Chest strap HR monitor. However for football I just use my watch to save it getting broken. Whether I use the strap or not, I get majorly inaccurate readings.

The heart rate tracking is bob on accurate though. So I'm at a loss. Below is an example.
