If everything was erased that does make it more problematic. However, you can try to recover using a 3rd-party recovery tool such as recuva. Otherwise, you can attach the F30 to a computer and see if there is anything in the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder and try a manual upload - How Do I Manually Upload an Activity I Recorded to Garmin Connect? | Forerunner® 30
After this reboot everything has been erased but the watch is now transferring the data.
If it's important to you, you can try using recuva. At least it's working now.
I had a similar problem with my Vivoactive 4s. Some crude data such as total daily step count was transferring on sync but not the detailed stuff such as the step count graph, body battery, and other graphs. Tried restarting the watch, the app and my iPhone. Nothing worked.
Then I tried a suggestion from elsewhere in these forums:
1. Close the Garmin Connect app on your phone.
2. Sync using the sync icon in the Controls Menu on your watch.
3. Open the Garmin Connect app – detailed data now shows in the app
