Garmin Forerunner 110 material melting away

Hi guys,

I have an issue with my Forerunner 110. I bought it in 2014 and from the first few months i noticed the rubber material outside of the watch was not par to a quality product. Wrist bands was cracked so i tried some glue to keep it together. After few years i stop using it and store it in its case in a safe place.

Today i decide i wanted to start running again so i open it up and only by pressing the buttons the rubber melts/break/dissolves like is made by bread or something.Iam really upset by this.Wrist bands disolved and fall abart. Garmin is known that have good and quality products. I searched on the net and it looks iam not alone. Many people have the same issue.

Can someone advise if Garmin can stand behind this product and help the situation? If not what can i do ? Buy a new Garmin with the fear haveing this issue? Should i take some videos or photos to upload to show the buttons fall like crumbles ?
