It is only activited during an activity and not for all activity types. On my 945 I got it for Run, Trail Run, Bike, Walk, Walk Indoor and Hike. It is turned on and off individually for each activity type…

Please add the Epix [gen 2]. I got my watch early of 2023. I have just got an accident while biking. I used the watch and the phone in my waist pouch. It notified my Emergency contacts and informed my location. It is ver useful feature. I like it!
