Venu 2S asks for pairing code with mobile phone

Every time I, with my Garmin watch, am far from my mobile phone it gets disconnected, as its the expected behavior but when I get close to it it asks for a code to connect to each other. Do you know a solution for it? I have a Garmin Venu 2S and a Samsung Galaxy A31.

Remove the watch from Garmin Connect. Also remove the phone from bluetooth settings in your phone if it is found there.
Then add the watch again by starting Garmin Connect and add the device that way.

See if that helps.

Ok. The important part is that you should never add the watch via the bluetooth settings in the phone.

I encountered the same issue when using a Venu 2S connected to a Samsung A41. Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 days until it asks again for the paring code. They even replaced the watch and the problem re-appeared. It must be a software problem, let's hope it will be fixed in the future, with future updated of the Garmin Connect app.

I have the same problem with Garmin Vivoactive4 in-parring with Samsung galaxy A22.

I'm also having this problem with a Forerunner245 Music and a Samsung A22 phone. What the! I've tried everything that Garmin have suggested, resetting etc. No luck
