Time keeps freezing

  1. Hi! I've now had my garmin forerunner 245 for a little over 7 months. The seconds on the watch keep freezing all the time for something like 20s. When they freeze right before the next minute starts, the seconds stay frozen on 00 while the minutes change. Only when I click on start/stop button to start an activity, they time starts running again, if I don't want to wait for them to start running again. I have restarted multiple times, it doesn't work. I find this very annoying; is there anything else I can do?
  2. I have downloaded a custom background from the Garmin store. Could that be the problem? because it seems unlikely to me.

    First try with one of the default watchfaces and see if the same issue occurs. If not, then it is most likely an issue with that custom watch face. Contact the developer or check the comments. Maybe someone else got the same issue.

    So I switched to the default watch face and it was still freezing (a bit less but still).

    Then I uninstalled everything and reinstalled my watch face and it's been working since then. I think it could have been due to some updates or maybe I just had to uninstall the other widgets.
