Garmin Connect for Android

I have just bought a new Moto E7i Power and tried to download the Garmin Connect app from Playstore and it tells me that this version is not compatible with my new phone, any reason why?

You can try downloading the app using an APK site. Seems someone on this thread had success - Downloading the Garmin connect app???

Also, you can still use your watch and upload to Garmin Connect Web using…

Thank you, that's worked. How robust is it? I mean does it work well or is it worth taking phone back and getting one that is compatible with Garmin connect?

No experience with this type of phone. These phones generally have low-end hardware because the requirements are lower to run the Go Edition and therefore cost less than a standard Android phone. Android Go Review: All You Need To Know
